I’m Heather, a California elopement photographer, workshop host and educator with 10 years of experience. I went from a full-time teacher to a destination wedding photographer, and now I’m combining both passions to help you.

4-hour one-on-one mentorship session

This tailored experience takes you from start to finish in the booking, photographing and editing process. These sessions are about four hours, including an introductory meeting or call, mini editorial shoot and post-session review with feedback.

This session includes a mini editorial shoot tailored to your brand with a couple! I will go over how I shoot, pose and direct my couples. We can cover everything I do before, during and after my sessions. From shooting film, lighting and how I choose locations as well as any other questions you may have. You will have the opportunity to shoot the session and use it for portfolio work and I will help you submit the session for a feature.

Nothing is off the table with this session. You can ask me anything. I'm an open book. This session is tailored to you, so we will jump on a discovery call so we can make sure we are targeting the areas most important to you.

3 days + 2 nights | Group Mentorships | Learning + Growth

This mentorship is perfect for a group of photographers that are all about the same skill level or are in business together. Perfect for you and your photography besties! This mini retreat is for 2-4 girls who want to get away and focus on their craft together in a group mentoring setting.

We’ll tailor this experience to your needs, skill level and goals. We will have lots of fireside chats, photography and business education, and growth building exercises.

Mini editorials — we will shoot a couple so you can see how I interact with them. You will also have a chance to shoot them for your own portfolio and I will be there to give you advice and critiques when needed.

As for the setting, you can choose to hold the retreat in your area, my city or at a gorgeous destination. The possibilities are endless and I highly recommend choosing a location you want more work in. Travel is an additional cost outside the San Diego area.
